Books read in 2014:
Sweet Evil and Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins: Like I said, this isn’t a review, but I couldn’t put these books down! I blasted through them in two weeks which says something considering I have a full-time job, a young child, several pets, and was working on my own series. I’m counting down the days until Sweet Reckoning is released…
I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead by E.A. Aymar: This book doesn’t fall into the YA Paranormal genre, so I’m going to be honest and admit I wouldn’t have found it on my own. E.A. Aymar is the son of one of my coworkers and I had the privilege of going to his book launch party, so I thought I’d check it out. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised!
Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schrieber
Fallen by Lauren Kate: I just found out they are making this into a movie! I'm very excited - how fun to see an angel story on the big screen. Can't wait!
Torment (Book 2 in the Fallen series) by Lauren Kate: I love being able to go straight to the next book in a series!
Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins: A great ending to an amazing trilogy!
Relentless by Karen Lynch: This is the first self-published book I have read. All I can say is that it was just as good, if not better, than any traditionally published book I have read. Way to go Karen! I hope she keeps working on this story with a sequel because I can't wait to see what's in store for Sara and Nicholas! You can visit Karen's website by clicking here.
If I Forget You by Michelle D. Argyle: This was yet another self-published book that did not disappoint me! I read this one at the beach. What a great book for my vacation!
Siren by Tricia Rayburn: Fun siren story set in Maine. I'm always drawn to stories set in New England!
Undercurrent by Tricia Rayburn, the second book in the Siren series.
Dark Water by Tricia Rayburn, the third and final book in the Siren series.
Sway by Jennifer Gibson. This story broke my heart in the beginning, but it ended on a happier note! I can't wait to read the second two books in this series! Jennifer is also a very talented graphics designer and has created the covers for The Sunset Trilogy. (Note - they are not on this site yet!)
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Not only did I love this book and the writing style, but I had the amazing opportunity to meet the author who happens to live over the mountain in West Virginia. She was extremely nice and encouraging. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and anything else she writes!
